“An incredible place to stay!”

Wow. I cannot wait to come back to Haley's Motel! The motel itself was pristine and beautifully decorated with a fun, beachy vibe. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and had great suggestions for where to go and what to do on the island. Best of all, the beach was just a few minutes away! Our entire stay was so relaxing and fun. I love Anna Maria island, and I'm so glad we found this beautiful place to stay when we visit!

“Exceeded expectations”

We were looking for a quiet 4 day getaway to Anna Maria Island, and part of that was looking to find a friendly, quiet, romantic place to stay. Haleys is the perfect spot for couples looking for a quaint room. The room was very clean, had a lot of little upgrades and had the feel of a bed and breakfast room without a large price tag.

“Loved Haley's Motel”
The beach is a short block walk and since it has a private pathway, the nearest stretch seems to be the least populated of the island! This part of the island was our favorite--not too dense, some old Florida atmosphere.

This hotel is a reminder of old Florida, when it was more laid back.

“Great spot, nice atmosphere”
Great value for money as the rooms are well furnished with a kitchenette, the bathroom is compact, but sufficient, all clean and in good condition. We had a warm welcome and given really useful advice about places to go on the island without asking for it. They provide really useful and complimentary, beach trolleys to put in your beach chairs, towels and toys, also provided free, the beach being a 2 minute walk away down a quiet street. The island and the beach (which wasn't busy) are beautiful, the water is the clearest I've seen on either coast of Florida, there were seagulls and pelicans diving for fish in between swimmers, whilst dolphins went past close in shore, followed by a spectacular sunset; really special.

“Best place to stay to enjoy AMI”
This was our second stay at Haley's. We can't wait to go back. Anna Maria is so beautiful and Haley's lets you enjoy it to the fullest. We aren't "big hotel" type people. Haley's is old Florida quaint but the rooms are modern and beautifully upgraded. The owners make you feel welcome and provide everything you need to enjoy your stay.

“A nice hidden gem on Anna Maria Island"
After searching many travel sites I finally found this hotel listed. I was not sure what to expect since I had not heard of the motel before. My rate was fantastic and so was the motel room. The décor was extremely nice, the room very clean and the location was great. It was approx. 1 block from motel. The property supplied all the items you and your family would need for the beach, and at no cost. The property's owner and other employees were very friendly!!! I recommend this motel for any couple or family.

“Quaint, clean, charming, excellent”
We travel a lot. This motel is just about the quaintest, cleanest, attention to your every need motel ever! The proximity to the beach is great, quiet part of Anna Maria. Awesome restaurant 1/2 mile north for breakfast n lunch - Ginny and Jane 's. Reasonable. Lovely warm pool. Beach chairs n towels provided. Felt like we were on Cape Cod! Will be returning to Anna Maria Island and Haley's.

“Past and future together”
Lots of reviews on this Motel and resort. It is on the northern end of Anna Maria Island. It is unique and quaint. One of the things that really impressed us is that almost every available inch of outdoors has foliage of some kind. It is obvious that it has been developed over the years. Yes the bathrooms are small, but hey, how often do you get to use the toilet and brush your teeth in the sink at the same time.
If you want a lot of motel room this is not your place. If you want a nice unique stay on a beautiful island it is a special place.

“Cutest place ever...”
Stayed at this motel again...room 8. Other reviewers have commented on the small bathrooms, and for sure, they are tiny....but expected in these old cottages. The rooms are spotless, smell fresh and linens like they were put on an hour before you checked in. Really cute and comfortable...pricing is consistent or lower than other motels in the area.

Very nice folks and they have everything there you'll need for a day at the beach. You are at the end of the block gulf side, so you are an easy walk to the water.

“Wonderful and quaint!”
Wonderful stay ay Haleys Motel. Adorable place and very accommodating. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels available. Very clean and staff very friendly! Close to beach and several eateries. Beautiful foliage and gardens outside each room. Quiet and relaxing.

“A great destination!”
Haley's is a classic motel that is less than a city block from a great beach. The rooms are cozy and recently updated. We stayed in room 6 which offered a well equipped kitchen.
The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about what's going on on the island.
Haley's is located walking distance to some nice restaurants as well as the trolly stop (the island has a free trolly to get around on)
Haley's provides beach chairs, beach towels and a cart to help get your beach goodies to the beach.
I especially love their gardens and the Orchid Room where I spent some time strumming my guitar and reading. I also enjoyed the heated swimming pool.
There are gas grills on the premises and we put them to good use grilling fresh sea food.
“Gotta go back to Haley's Motel!!”
Staff was awesome. Eric and Tom were very helpful! Just a short walk to the beach past some beautiful homes. Sunsets are amazing. House/Room we stayed in was just 1.5 years old. Well worth the road trip!!

“Cozy Place we Loved!”
Stayed in the Gumbo Limbo 21 and LOVED IT. Quiet and clean and just like our own little private home on AMI. Owners are like 'family' and everything about this experience was amazing! They became our island guides for where to shop, eat and fish. There is so much to do close to Haley's Motel, so we stayed near and walked everywhere! Beach was a short walk and they provided towels, umbrella, carry cart and chairs!
