In response to receiving so many concerned inquiries about whether Anna Maria has been affected by the tragic
oil spill into the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, we are publishing a beach and Gulf report for you every few weeks.
The good news is that the experts who have been carefully monitoring conditions in the Gulf do not expect our
pristine white beaches and stunning clean water to be adversely affected, barring unforeseen changes in weather
and tide conditions. Below is a picture of our beach today. However, we understand your concern about booking a
vacation and losing your hard earned dollars if the beach is fouled by the oil spill.
We are now offering everyone who books an advance reservation with us a guarantee.
We will be monitoring this situation very closely, and will continue to send you frequent updates on beach conditions here at Haley's Motel on Anna Maria where our sand is sparkling clean and white, and the Gulf waters are turquoise and clear blue this week. We also invite you to log onto www.haleysmotel.com where we will be publishing updated beach conditions as reported by world renowned Mote Marine Laboratory which is deeply involved in the monitoring of our area.
