Haley's Motel is a non-smoking property. All Units have A/C, heat, basic cable TV and telephone / answering machine. Most units have AC wall units and small portable heater. The 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and units 9 + 10 have central AC/Heat. The guest room’s have a separate phone system and cannot be reached over the motel phone. The number is 941-779-0365 plus the room extension, which is the room number +100 (unit 5 would be 105). Please do not call at nighttime, as guests might have changed rooms, unless you have talked to the guest before. Haley’s Motel has WIFI. A guest computer is located in the billiard room. If you bring your own laptop, it will work in all of the rooms, except for the Green House, which is outside the range. All units have kitchens. Gas barbeque grills are available for all our guests in several locations. Laundry facilities free of charge for guests are located in the enchanted Garden under the Garden House and for unit 22 in the Green House. Heated pool with sun deck and Aqua Aerobic classes. Trainer to hire for private work out. Free bicycles and tandems (2 seaters), beach- towels, chairs and umbrellas. The Enchanted Garden. A wildlife friendly, tropical garden with BBQ grill, table and chairs. Billard Room with an extra refrigerator, counter and sink and a guest bathroom.
	Haley's Motel Pool The heated pool is available to all of our registered guests, but reserved for the times below for aqua classes. If you prefer, the Gulf of Mexico is right down the street, just 100 yards from Haley's. If it's the 'island life' you are looking for on your next vacation, Haley's Motel on Anna Maria Island is the place to be.
Haley's Motel Pool and Water Aerobic Training If you watched our video tour, you probably saw a group of us in the pool doing jumping jacks. We have a wonderful trainer, Rik Johns, who has been in the fitness business for over 20 years. He is a certified trainer, with a special AFAA certification for Aqua Fitness. Rik also offers personal training lessons in cardio and weight training or private aqua training at your convenience, in case you don't want to jump with the crowd. The exercises are easy to do and fit all age groups. Water aerobics is recommended for people who have problems with joints or the back. Everybody determines how intense they want to work out. Sabine always works really hard and loses a couple pounds during exercise. Unfortunately, she just needs to look at a chocolate cake and they are back on. We have a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 7 persons per class, as our pool is relatively small. If you are interested, we recommend booking your space at the time you make your reservation at Haley's Motel. Aqua aerobics is Tuesday nights from 6 - 7 PM and Saturday mornings from 10 -11 AM; and during season (Jan - May), another evening class on Thursdays from 5 - 6 PM. The charge per class is $10 and has to be prepaid. There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations in less then 24 hours. Classes maybe canceled at the last minute due to weather conditions and the payment will be refunded or transferred to another date.

Enchanted Gardens at Haley's Motel

Spend some time in the tranquility of our Enchanted Gardens with exotic plants and the sweet smell of jasmine and ginger. Pick a homegrown banana off the tree. Enjoy the squirrels playing catch; watch the birds on the feeders and jump when you see an occasional snake. They are not poisonous, but as a friend said, all snakes kill: some with poison and some scare you to death. We like them, as they keep rodents and cockroaches away and even though we have regular pest control, as this is tropical Florida some critters are less appealing then others. One example is mosquitoes or no-see-ums, which you will encounter at dusk, dawn and after rain, so don’t forget to bring bug spray.

Another thing you should have in you luggage is sunscreen lotion with a high UV protection, like 30 or 40. We hear a lot of people say at check-in that they never burn and always only use UV8. Those are usually the ones, who spend day 1 on the beach and days 2 to 6 in seclusion, as they look like lobsters and feel the pain of the Florida Sun.

For rainy days or when it is just too hot to be outside, or just because you feel like playing, Haley's has a poolroom at the Motel. The entrance is through the enchanted garden and it is open from 11am to 9pm. There is also a dartboard, and a guest computer with games, Internet access and a printer.

There are a few rules to follow:
1. Children are not permitted in the billiard room without a parent attending.
2. Players have to inform the front office about the times at which they like to use the billiard room. Unannounced parties have to vacate the billiard table for scheduled players.
3. The guest computer is for adults only and downloading programs and changing settings is not allowed.

Haley's Motel is just a short walk from the pristine island beaches.

Haley's provides free beach towels, beach chairs and a basket of sand toys! (really for the children, but big people can use them too!)

Relax where the aqua waters of the Gulf of Mexico meet the white sand beaches with friends, family or just a good book for company. Put yourself on "island time" and just enjoy the sounds of the laughing gulls.
